WHAT IS Hypno-band? The HYPNO-BAND System fits a virtual gastric band to your stomach without the need for expensive invasive surgery, making you eat less and less often. Designed for those with a BMI over 25 the Hypno-Band is a safe, risk free and cheap alternative to Gastric Band Surgery
How does Hypno-band work? Hypno-band is a combination of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and hypnotherapy techniques that helps you understand, and change your eating habits.
Does the Hypno-band involve surgery? No! The HYPNO-BAND system is a behaviour changing system using the techniques of hypnotherapy and CBT so is totally non-invasive. Additional bonuses over surgical gastric bands include avoiding painful rehab, time off work, dangerous side affects, risk from complications, huge expence etc.
Am I suitable for the Hypno-Band weight loss system? Yes if you are over-weight and REALLY WANT and are committed to losing weight then you should be suitable. Your initial session determines your suitability for Hypno-band or another more appropriate therapy (Hypnoanalysis, or other tailored weight loss suggestion therapy). Hypno-band is not suitable if there is a physiological reason for your weight problems or if you are taking certain medications that are making you put on weight. By Bus - Buses stop immediately outside the Maldon Hypnotherapy Clinic (opposite HSBC, above the Chameleon Jewellery Shop).
Directions from the North/East A12 (Witham, Colchester, Clacton-on-Sea, Ipswich etc.)
F rom Witham , follow the B1018 all the way to Maldon town centre.
From Colchester/Clacton etc. take the turn off the A12 junction 24, follow the B1023 Kelvedon road into Tiptree, then take the B1022 Maldon road all the way to Maldon town centre.
From South/West A12 (Brentwood, Billericay, Chelmsford, Harlow, Rayleigh, Southend-on Sea etc.) from Chelmsford or the A12 junction 18 take the A414 follow all the way to Maldon, follow signs to the town centre.
Once at 65B High Street (immediately to the left of the Chameleon Jewellery Shop, opposite HSBC) please just come in through the unlatched blue door (no need to knock), make your way upstairs and take a seat outside my room which is the first door you come to on your right. I will quite possibly still be with my previous client, so please do not knock if the door sign says "Engaged". I will come and fetch you at your allotted appointment time or shortly after if running late.
There are toilets available if you follow the corridor to the end. Apologies there currently is no wheelchair access at this venue.

There's no pressure at all to enter into any therapy by having an initial consult. During this chat you can ask all your questions, your suitability for Hypno-band or other treatments will be assessed and any subsequantly recommended treatment options explained thoroughly. Initial consults usually last anywhere up to an hour.

Fees for a course of Hypno-band are a fraction of the cost of having a gastric band with private healthcare.
An individual's course is just £395 which includes 5 sessions and support pack, including two reinforcement hypnosis CD's.
A COUPLES DISCOUNT of £695 is offered to couples, close friends, or family members who both qualify for and wish to go through the Hypno-band course together. Actual sessions are still individually personalised and held seperatly however, timing of sessions is such that you'd effectively do the course together (one after each other or at least the same day) but certain aspects may be shared and done together. Ask Alice during your initial consult if you are suitable for the couples discount where you are saving nearly £50 each (a pair with the same weight loss goals, living and/or working closely together often find the Hypno-band system even more rewarding more rapidly than alone).
